  17. AstroMart is a complete software for calculating an 
  18. astrological chart.
  19.  
  20. It is equally addressed to students of astrology, and to all 
  21. those who are interested in this science. 
  22.  
  23. AstroMart allows you to enter the details of the person to be 
  24. studied for the calculation of his or her astral chart, and 
  25. calculates the position of the planets at the time of birth as 
  26. well as the position of the astrological houses and aspects.

  28. A variety of graphics and chart analysis is included in the 
  29. software.

  32. Hardware requirements
  33. ---------------------

  35. - Windows 3.1
  36. - 20386 processor or higher
  37. - hard disk
  38. - 2 mb RAM
  39. - VGA video or better
  40. - uses x87 if available

  43. Installation
  44. ------------

  46. The software is contained in two files:
  47.  
  48. m_win.exe  : files specific to Windows
  49. am_data.exe : data files used by both systems
  50.

  52. For Windows:
  53.  
  54. 1) Create a sub-directory for AstroMart:
  55.  
  56.    C:>md \astro
  57. (or any other name) then press <enter>
  58.  
  59. 2) Enter the sub-directory:
  60.  
  61.    C:>cd \astro <enter>
  62.  
  63. 3) Uncompress the program and its data files:
  64.  
  65.    C:\astro>a:am_win <enter>
  66.    C:\astro>a:am_data <enter>
  67.  
  68. 4) Install the icon:
  69.    - Select FILE/NEW in the Program Manager
  70.    - Click on the Browse button
  71.    - Select the appropriate drive and directory in the box on 
  72.      the right
  73.    - Double-click on astrowin.exe
  74.    - Click on Ok in each dialog box
  75.  
  76. 5) To run AstroMart: double-click on its icon.

  78. For help, press F1.

  84. This is a reduced version of the AstroMart software which I 
  85. have decided to release as shareware. The author reserves all 
  86. rights concerning this program, but will allow this specific 
  87. version to be copied and distributed freely and without charge. 
  88.  
  89. It must be distributed with all its files, including this one.  
  90.  
  91. Vendors and BBS's are asked to make themselves known if they 
  92. have not been directly contacted by the author; this is 
  93. important for future updates.
